The huge structure of this plant has tough, sword-like leaves that can grow up to three metres long and it is widely known as the New Zealand flax or flax lily. I love this plant for its strength and tonal depth. My background is in documentary and lifestyle photography with a focus on landscapes, botanicals, nature and the art of the every day and my aim is to capture a feeling or atmosphere in my work from my surroundings and environment.
